Strictly. We intentionally craft our recipes so that a 60g scoop or an entire waffle never exceeds 2g of net carbs. To be honest, we usually over-achieve—none of our flavors have ever actually reached the 2g mark, with some sitting at less than 1g. It’s all the indulgence with none of the “carb-stress.”

Yes! We focus on ultra-low net carbs (2g or less per serve) specifically to prevent the blood sugar spikes associated with traditional treats. Many of our regular customers are diabetic and enjoy our scoops and waffles as a safe, delicious way to satisfy a sweet tooth without compromising their health.
We know how tricky managing GD can be! Because our ice cream and waffles are crafted with 2g of net carbs or less per serve, they are designed to be enjoyed without causing blood sugar or insulin spikes. Many pregnant mummies with GD have safely enjoyed Ketojiak as a worry-free treat. As every pregnancy is unique, we always recommend enjoying them in moderation and consulting your doctor if you have specific concerns.
Absolutely. We are a strictly gluten-free facility. Every single scoop and waffle is crafted in a gluten-free environment, making them safe for those with gluten intolerances or high sensitivities.
Most of our ice creams and all of our waffles use heavy cream, which is naturally low in lactose (approx. 0.5g per tablespoon). With our 2g net carb guarantee, most lactose-intolerant customers enjoy our dairy range without issue.
For those who are strictly dairy-free, we have a dedicated range of dairy-free and lactose-free ice creams. Please note that these flavors use eggs as a key ingredient (as with our dairy-based flavours and waffles) and are therefore not plant-based.
Absolutely! There’s a common myth that keto means “super high fat,” but we’ve flipped the script. While we are sugar-free and ultra-low carb, our fat content is actually lower than most premium mainstream ice creams.
In fact, all our flavors without mix-ins are less than 200kcals per 100g and packed with more protein than your average scoop. Whether you’re health-conscious or just want a delicious treat that won’t leave you in a sugar coma, Ketojiak is for everyone! 😉
As a boutique brand, we aren’t Halal-certified at the moment, but we take great care to be Halal-friendly. All our ice creams and waffles are crafted with no pork, no lard, and zero alcohol. We also do not use gelatin in any of our flavors or mix-ins. We prioritize sourcing ingredients that carry the Halal certification logo to the best of our abilities.
Our waffles are crafted with a blend of whey protein isolate and micellar casein. We understand some people experience glucose spikes with protein powders; however, our waffles are balanced with healthy fats to buffer that effect and stay within keto macros. We’re so confident in our recipe that if you do experience a spike, we’ll happily provide a refund.
Our ice cream flavors do not contain any protein powders.
We use a proprietary blend of plant-derived sweeteners: Allulose and Monkfruit Extract. Both have a Glycemic Index (GI) of zero, meaning they have little to no impact on your blood sugar.
Many “keto-friendly” products use Maltitol because it’s cheaper, but we strictly avoid it as it is known to cause blood sugar spikes. While some of our ingredients contain tiny amounts of naturally occurring sugars (like lactose in heavy cream or fructose in real fruit), these are all strictly calculated to ensure every serve stays under our 2g net carb guarantee.

Eggs: All of our ice creams and waffles contain eggs. This includes our dairy-free range (like Bangkit Gula Melaka), which is why they are not plant-based.

Dairy: Our waffles and standard ice cream range contain heavy cream (low-lactose). We offer a specific dairy-free line for those who avoid dairy entirely.

Nuts: Our waffles are nut-free, as are many of our ice cream flavors. However, we do have flavors with nut mix-ins, and our products are crafted in a facility that processes nuts.

Gluten: We are a strictly gluten-free facility, so there is no risk of gluten cross-contamination.
