Cempedak

Often mistaken for jackfruit, the cempedak is a fruit native to Southeast Asia that looks and tastes similar to the jackfruit but is sweeter and smells more aromatic. It is usually eaten on its own or deep fried as cempedak goreng, both which would be no-gos if you are going sugar-free or low carb. We take as much of the pulp as we can and have it pulverised and blended into a super flavourful cempedak ice cream that’s within our 2g net carbs / 60g serve threshold. Gotta taste it to believe it. 😉
